Disney announced that the live-action remake of Snow
At the D23 event, Disney announced that the live-action remake of Snow White will start showing in theaters in 2024. This live-action film is adapted from the classic animated film Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs in 1937.
This musical fantasy film will star Rachel Zegler as the main character, Snow White and Gal Gadot as the main antagonists, the Evil Queen.
"I can sing and I can dance and I can play a villain, which is something that has never been done before — and this is the first villain from Disney ever." Gal Gadot said in April during her interview with Forbes.
The snow whites film was first announced in October 2016 with Erin Cressida Wilson being entrusted to write the script. In May 2019, director Marc Webb joined the film. Until 2021, this Disney princess film is still actively being developed. Until March 2022, the film officially started the filming process and was completed in July. The completion of the filming was confirmed by Gal Gadot by sharing a photo of herself with the crew on her Instagaram Story.

Rachel Zegler was surprised by her choice to play the role of Snow White.
"Never in a million years did I imagine that this would happen for me. You don't usually see Snow White who is of Latin descent. Although Snow White is really great in Spanish-speaking countries. Blanca Nieves is a big icon whether you're talking about Disney cartoons or just different iterations and Grimm's fairy tales and all the stories that come with it." She added that she is excited to become a Latina princess, the actress revealed in an interview in January 2019.

Other Actors In The Snow White Movie
Although filming has been completed, apart from Rachel Zegler and Gal Gadot, Disney has only announced three other cast members for this film. Andrew Burnap will play a character named Jonathan, who is described as "like Robin Hood" and Snow White's lover. Martin Klebba will play Grumpy, one of the seven dwarves, and the still-undisclosed character will be played by Dujonna Gift.
